as I mention before Motovun is really small old city situated on the hill and when houndreds of people came to this city belive me IT'S CROWDED and every attempt to find a place to rest a little bit is hard;
every free place is worthy to ''conquer'';
they find their spot for sure.

You manage to create an entire world, almst suspended, Ana. Kind of like an innocent holiday film from the early 60's in France "Les vacances..." This is in the same Croatia that experienced war not so long ago...There is a tenderness in yur work here that is maturing with every shot. I'm sure I am not the only one to notice. And it's very movie like too.

I like the theatrical position of these people,
it seems like out of a retro film, interesting slice of life.
HOpe they stop smoking soon though, its bad for the health.

Thats a very intimate angle. I dont think a mah could get away with it, but you sure did. The black and white is superb Ana, but really this is a very intimate shot. Well done.

I love the low POV and the tilt. I like that both girls are taking a drag at the same time. I like the lighting too. The background is borderline too distracting to me. On that note I think you got managed it as well as you posible could. You got the person on the left to be in front of the tree trunk and both heads of the two girls have nice dark leaves behind them. Intentional or not, you did a good job with that. It is just too bad that the background wasn't more solid so that it wasn't so distracting. But that is something out of your control.

nice dailly life shot! the people look so relax and no any astricting in the old city, such as living in a village, quiet but fleely, can do anything you want to do. so nice city i wish i could live there.
the texture is wonderful as well.

I love your photos, Ana, because they mostly tell the simple pleasures of life in the first "adult" years, coming out from the self-stressing teenage years : a time where you've left everything back, especially your parents, and the world is a playground to experiment any kinds of fun and pleasures.

For us, people coming to their forties or even older, it has a sense of a lost paradise. It makes me remember the time I was going hitchiking through France with just a packet of cigarettes and a few coins in my pocket : that was a time with no fears, and yes the world was mine if ever I wished to conquer it.
