Photographer’s Note
In Lisbon Story, a barber asks Winter if he is American, and with the dryness that informs much of the film, the soundman replies: "No, European." That is to say, a brand in search of a concept. Or a citizen of Nowheresville.
again many thoughts crossed my mind after developing the film and saw this photograph; again one great director came on my mind...not that I compared my work with his, no NO, but in some sense it reminded me on some scenes in colors in Wim Wendres movies...
and this conversation from above perfectly fits some things that I've been thinking while traveling in this train...again no in the same sense but similar...
.
I spend many hours and days in trains...traveling from my hometown to capital where I'm educating myself.and where my life is now. now I no longer travel so much with this device, unfortunately cause they are beautiful spot to meet nice people, or just to stare outside the window like I did this time and wondering about certain things.
.
these days I've been introducing myself more and more with this director, with some of his notes and even hotographies and I love his sensitivity and the way he sees the word...so if you are interested in his art that is not movie but PHOTOGRAPHY;

Beautiful tribute to Wenders but also, perhspa, hidden in there, a memorial to the recent war in your land...
this is a great train pic, a superb landscape, and with yur not, a splendid meditation on time, space and movies.
Bravo, Anna!
