A occhio nudo è possibile distinguere il disco solare al tramonto o in presenza di nebbia e nubi, quando l'intensità luminosa è sensibilmente minore. Tali osservazioni permettono, seppure in rare circostanze, di osservare delle macchie solari particolarmente estese. Utilizzando poi un modesto telescopio, dotato di un adeguato filtro o utilizzato per proiettare l'immagine della stella su uno schermo bianco, è possibile osservare agevolmente le macchie solari e i brillamenti.[17] Tuttavia, a causa dei rischi a cui è soggetta la retina dell'occhio, l'osservazione del Sole senza le giuste protezioni è dannosa alla vista: infatti, la forte radiazione può provocare la morte di parte delle cellule della retina, deputate alla visione,[18][19][20][21] oppure la degenerazione di alcune strutture oculari, come il cristallino.[22]

To the naked eye can distinguish the solar disk at dusk or in fog and clouds, when the light intensity is much slower. These observations allow, albeit in rare circumstances, to observe particularly large sunspot. Then, using a modest telescope, equipped with a suitable filter or used to project the image of the star on a white screen, you can easily observe sunspots and flares. bellissimo controluce! La luce e i colori sono magnifici e la scena ben costruita. Unico appunto : avrei clonato il cerchio rosa sulle drizze della barca, ma è solo un piccolissimo appunto su una foto di grande impatto.

Hello Marino,
I like this very much because the quality of the golden light and the composition are excellent. Although some areas are burnt out they are compensated by the strength of the rest of the picture. The shadows of the two people are very nicely caught.

Che bel veliero che hai fotografato! Io sono un appassionato di barche a vela... e l'atmosfera creata dalle tonalità del tramonto è molto bella, con una luce dorata che fa sognare. La composizione è molto ben congegnata con la presenza umana che arricchisce l'immagine e la banchina coi binari che accentua il senso prospettico. Ottima.

Hi Marino,

This is so fantastic and beautiful photograph, so it's interesting and impressive to see the harbor dyed to sunset and sunrays poured in the shape of radiation from between thick clouds. You're managing well the light effect with the shadow and highlight, too. And, two people standing on pier and some ships with silhouette draw out an additional good mood in this wonderful image as well as mountain in behind.

Zdravo Marino. Interesting result of shooting against such a strong light. I found myself doing something similar on the Zambezi. Dramatic range of colours which almost verge on the monochromatic.Best wishes for the year ahead. Klaudio.

the light in this scene is very intense! There are surely some skills in image processing needed to make the whole illumination look like that. I really like the result!!! It lets me somehow think of the sunset on the main road in Havanna.

Bellissima, un gran controluce di gran effetto, stupendi i raggi del sole e le sagome delle due ragazze e delle barche a vela, mi sembra quasi una scena da i film di Sandokan :) Scena ben costruita E luce ben gestita. beautiful composition. I like very much the light. There are plenty of interesting objects included like the boats in the distance but the real highlight are of course the silhouettes of the two ladies. I like how you used them to cover the strong sun reflection. They also produce a very nice long shades in the foreground.
The sky itself is spectacular with the sun hiding partially behind the dark cloud.
