Photographer’s Note

Looking to the east from Gracisce you can see the mountain range that runs along the coastline - the highest of Istria. In front of it you can see a hilly green country with the cathedral of Pican as an immediate eyecatcher.

I like this picture for one important reason : it shows us the landscape as it is . Not an outstanding composition , here , but a fine view of a the landscape , with natural colors and a good clarity .

The view seems to go on and on. Although tiny in the image our eye is immediately drawn to the cathedral. Good use of the forground tree on the left for added depth and interest.
