Photographer’s Note

Typical Istrian architecture is a church with pilars like this in front. I saw such a church in numerous villages.
Here a beautiful example in a jewel of a little village called Gracisce of which I have to show you more this week.

Een heel mooi hoekje in dat dorp en een prachtig kerkje met de pilaren aan het voorportaal, de kleine kloktoren en het rode dak. Goed lichtmanagement !

Interesting and beautiful architecture of this church, very different from the ones I'm used to see. Perspective is great, and so is the lighting, which must have been difficult to manage under a strong sun! Good job!

It is a charming little church and different in design from many we see. The strong light we contend with when travelling is very well managed.

I visited Istrian in ....1974! A very nice country. Vrey nice view to with a plesant harmony in the warm colors, a very good propsect and beautifulk play of shade and light.
