Photographer’s Note

The entrance gate of The Jesuit Church in Dubrovnik...

Like most Jesuit churches, it is built on the model of the Church of Gesù in Rome. This one was started around 1669 and finished about 1725. Dedicated to St. Ignatius it is the first Jesuit Church to have been founded outside of Rome. The interior decorations are some of the earliest Jesuit works of art in Europe. The front of the church is very elegant in baroque style. The church is best approached from the stairs (based on Rome's Spanish Steps) which lead up from the lower part of town.

hi Deniz, nice shot, good exposure to capture the light coming through the glasses
in the FG the girl doing a peek a boo looks very appealing and also the BG caught good attention

Şu fani dünyada ana galeride Hırvatistan fotoğraflarıyla komşu olmak da varmış kaderde, darısı diğer güzide memleketlerin başına. Dakika: 1 , Gol: 1 şeklinde giriş yapmışsın Hırvatistan fotoğraflarına. Senden alışık olmadığımız kronolojik davranışlar bunlar.
Çizgilerin düzgünlüğü konusunda bir şüphem yok ama geniş açı bozulması kendini bir şekilde hissettiriyor, garip bir derinliği. Işık gölge süper, ama bu "is there anybody"den çok "kafesten kaçmak üzere olan kuş" fotoğrafı...
Bu arada 10-20'de netlik sorunu yaşamayan o elemana duyduğum hayret günbe gün artıyor...

Probably the most original church shot I've seen. Ligth coming between the beams at the entrance is special. And she certainly catches attention. I guess she couldn't visit Vatican on those clothes, but I don't mind...

excellent composition.I like the way the light throws shadows that splay out.The girl has the perfect pose, as if she is asking "is anybody there?" and is about to be spooked and run back out.

ışık tam senlikmis denizcim.. bu tonlar yakisiyor fotograflarına.. cok fotografik bir giris kapısı varmis kilisenin, mimarlarina buradan tebrikler gonderiyorum.. ilerideki somine goruntulu bolum de "sadece giris kapısını degil beni de al kadraja" demis sanki, cok guzel tamamlamis.. model mi? model bizim tatli kirmizi kafanın olmasını isterdim.. ama tabi laf yok bu modele de.. dogru yerde durmus..

What is magnificent here is of course the light.
A magic, warm light which you use it in a best way to give a very impressive result that makes you wonder what is beside the door.

Oteki fotografta da vardi, senin gozunden degil, genis aci objektifler, perspektif bozulmasi yapiyor, photoshopta da duzeltmesi cok kolay. Bu arada 10-20'yi de gule gule kullan.
Fotograflarin bakis acilarin, renklerin acaip zevk veriyor. Bu da oteki gibi nefis. Samimi ve icten, gaz degil. eline saglik.
