Photographer’s Note

A view from the village of Beli - of which I've shown some photo's allready - down to the beach where you can just see a glance of the little vacation houses that are build directly on the beach.
Beli is an ancient village in a wonderful setting on the northern edge of the quiet and relaxed island of Cres - pronounce Tsress.

Very nice vertical perspective here - I especially like the foreground vegetation - would have been a bonus to catch a bit more color on the sky - seems a tad weak. Well done image and TFS. Gerald

Wise use of the vertical format to accentuate the length of this beautiful coastline. I like the lighting and the cool/warm tonal contrasts. Superb sharpness throughout.

Excellent POV; not only for its high position but also to show the zig-zagging coastline, which carries our eye right into the image. The different kinds of foliage makes a nice foreground.

Wat een mooi zicht op het water. Prachtig zichtpunt met veel diepte, prachtig licht en zo'n mooie kleuren. Hier kan ik wel even naar blijven kijken en wegdromen. Prachtig werk!

Bonjour Gerrit,
uen vue qui nou spermet d'admirer la flore local, assez tropicale pour uen région qui ne l'est pas. Des couleurs fotes aides dans leur contraste par une exposition parfaite.
Ce POV en altitude permet de découvrir des kilomètres de côtes et donne aussi beaucoup de profondeur.

I like the way you lined up the three points in your photo. Together with the foreground foliage and the distant mountains it gives great depth of field.
