Photographer’s Note
Hi TErs
Walking the streets of Zagreb one can find some interesting stuff such as its street lamps. Besides the nice shape and compo together with beautiful floral arrangments, they have one special particularity: They are still the original old ones! They use gas and I was told that someone lights them one by one each night! I hope someone else switch them off in the morning :)
Please check out the WS to see one during the day.

Ola Pedro!
Indeed, there are two persons sharing the job of lighting
all of them 217 (originally 364) old gas street lamps in the evening.
Usually it takes them about 2 hours to complete the job.
They also switch them off every morning.
Your subject is interesting, but I'm not so sure about the
way you presented this one - a bit too general POV for
my personal taste. Technically it's alright, but it
doesn't tell me much about the place, the particular
atmosphere of the locality... I mean - it could have been
taken anywhere else in the world where these lamps still
exist.
Cheers,
Robi
