Photographer’s Note
This shot was taken in Vodnjan, a town located at about 10 km from Pula, in the southern part of Istarska. The town had preserved its own traditional and medieval style, strongly characterised by the presence of the Italian and Venetian culture.
Several narrow alleys wedge itself among the houses and around the main church, which can boast the highest steeple of all Croatia.
Most of the houses need a renovation...

What a busy scene. So many shapes and lines and colours and patterns. A very interesting window and surrounds. Good find!

They need a renovation, indeed. However, the picture is very interesting with those charmful flowers in the middle surounded by the wires and the decaying walls.
Q polarizer filter might help in removing the reflections on the glass. It would improve the pix a lot.

Bonjour Samuele,

This is a realy pretty photo.
So simple but so beautiful.
Your photos always have so much live, it mustn't be a spectacular building for you, you show the daily live very well, thanks.

Hi Samuele,
I like this one very much, that old weather-beaten structure is charming and captured with great detail! The red and green in the flowers make your picture very appealing...

Pablo

Hi Samuele,
Just had a quick look through your gallery...it's very impressive....and I can see that I ahve a lot to learn. My favourite though is this image...I really like the dilapidation being aleviated by the flowers. I think it's a super shot.

Hi Samuele, this is an impressive shot of my favourite subject - windows and doors. This window is an absolute classic, it has everything - great textured walls, time-worn shutters and even geraniums on the sill. The photo would have been better without the black cable, but it can't be helped, it's part of reality. I don't believe in manipulating those details. Excellent shot! Regards, Ryno
