Like Los Angeles is called "City of angles", Dubrovnik should be called "City of linen" :)
Wet clothes were hanging down almost from every window in each narrow street, what is very nice custom in my oppinion, everything looks so fresh then :)
Have a "fresh" day too, though it is Monday :)

Hello Veronika ... I love fresh washed linen blowing in the wind. And it has a "sunny" feeling once it is dry. I love your note and of course your photo ... also you, have a fresh and sunny day. Barbara.

this is nice photo, I have something similar to this one that I took in Kotor, Montenegro also very beautiful old town close to Dubrovnik. Also it is under UNESCO protection.
I like the old houses and the clothes hanging everywhere around :)

Colourful and beautiful lines. Good depth. Left side a bit tilted.

Nice composition and great POV,
Althought the sky is a little over exposed
but the overall outcome is pleasant.
Missed you all on TE,

A nice still life from the village, Vero. The laundry hanging across the street between the old houses makes for a fun subject, and the backlighting on the clothes produces some interesting effects. Not so easy to handle the exposure in the intense light but overall it turned out well.

one of my very first TE shots was one in Venice, of, yes, drying laundry:) I like the beauty of the stuff, how it colors a scene, how the light falls on it. Its a wonderful photo Veronika.

It recalls me , despite i m not fond of her music , a Shakira work > I saw similar sceneries by Italia specially in Giudecca , Venice and souht Italia . The picture is interesting showing us that mixture between Croatian old architecture and its effect with some mediterranean customs at hanging the clothes to be dried . How are you sweet Vero ? Is still Mizu in Hungary , he went or He is going ?

I prefer this to much more than your newer post of the clothes. I find this compo dynamic and full of nice contrasts. Good playing round with depth with nice repetition of the clothes and sufficient saturation. Also nice textures of the house.
I think your newer post has a bit of nice lighting but overall lacks the interesting elements presented here. And I also like the wide angle here. Well, it's just my personal PoV hope you don't mind :)

Hi Vero. I find this one the best of your laundry pictures. The clothes hanging over the road give a good dynamic shot. In these countries the wheather makes it possible to do so, here in Belgium, I think the laundry could easily be wetter after hanging out than before (now I'm exagerating I know;-)). Love the shot; it is very typical daily life.

This reminds me so much of the bylanes of Kolkata, the place I come from, Specially in the older parts, once can catch the same scene every sunny day. Nicely captured, good POV.
