Photographer’s Note

Not many things in my life are done successfully for the first try, with the exception of this picture, i wanted to take a shot of a wave which is just falling down and here it goes, first try :)

Another refreshing shot for all of you who are enjoying hot sun rays, what is not my case unfortunately :)

This is a really excellent shot Veronika.
Its a very minimalist composition and it works very well.
The side lighting on the pebbles in the foreground is great and I like how you've blurred the water; it gives the waves a good impression of movement.

Hi Vero, i definitely love your croatia gallery ! :)) Excellent style, minimalistic one, just focused and framing of usefull details, well seen ! :))
You do really great by selecting only usefull things on your last picture, here the sharp little rocks and the blurred falling wave (1/80s), smooth colors, without your name i would have recognize it was a picture from you :)

Excellent dynamic shot Veronika! Love the colour and shadow, although I would think you could increase the contrast further for a stronger image.

Hi Veronika, creative shooting here with the accent of the focus on the nicely lit pebbles and the wave with a crashing motion blur. Very refrehing indeed, well done a very pleasing image!

Hi Veronika,

a dramatic photo! I like this rushing water and the feeling of impending doom. I would love the foreground to have something there to tell more os a story. I imagine a cropped leg going out of the frame. But thats just my taste, which doesnt change that I like this shot as it is.

Congratz for your no.100! I've just had mine too ;)
This shot is innovative and very artistic. You've blurred the wave well and kept the stones in resonable sharpness. Nice lighting creating great textures on solid tiny stones, a stark contrast to the vast but soft water. Excellent post for the summer. I'd look forward to your another 100!

Wow Veronika, this is true beach life ... I love the wet stones waiting for another round of salt water. The light is fantastic too. It all reminds me of a vacation I had with my parents maybe a hundred years ago ... and it was in Brela (I was rather small but I can still hear my mother talking about Brela).

Wow, your 100th already, congratulations Vero :) This is very nice, I think the key ingredient is the small line of crisply sharp and sunlit stones at the bottom of the frame. Good rendition of the dynamic incoming wave above. Good one for the anniversary, and I look forward to seeing a couple of 100 photos more.

Yipa happy 100th Veronita a nice try but i 1/8o sec are not enough to freeze the wave motion, but fot sur this picture is very refreshing.

Congratulations on your 100th post. The blurred effect of the waves is both enchanting and full of dynamism. The approaching wave looks awesome. I love the warm light playing on the pebbles in the foreground as this adds some nice warm colour which contrasts very well with the wave. Excellent capture.

Great minimilistic posting for your 100th, congratualtions. I am glad you included the thin line of sharp pebbles in the foreground this offsets wonderfully the blurred crashign wave with its pearl transluscent light. Nice work
