Photographer’s Note
Trogir is a historic town and harbour on the Adriatic coast in the Split-Dalmatia County, Croatia.
The historic city of Trogir is situated on a small island, 30 km south of Split.
Since 1997, the historic centre of Trogir has been included in the UNESCO list of World Heritage Sites.
Trogir is a remarkable example of urban continuity. The orthogonal street plan of this island settlement dates back to the Hellenistic period and it was embellished by successive rulers with many fine public and domestic buildings and fortifications. Its beautiful Romanesque churches are complemented by the outstanding Renaissance and Baroque buildings from the Venetian period.

Hi, Kris -
I'm really surprised this hasn't gotten noticed yet. (I've been out of town; that's my excuse.) This is a very good use of available light; there is a bit of blowout, but nothing serious, and the green lights here and there are enough to generate interest but not so much as to give a green cast to the whole. The reflections are also handled well, extending into the negative space and tying it to the whole.
Best,
Dan
