Directions

Drive to Jablanac harbor, in the middle of the Rijeka-Zadar road

Take the ferry to Rab island

Drive a few kilometers, to Rab town

Leave your car at the parking on the inner harbour, walk up to Gornja ulica ("Upper street")

Find the ruins of the 7-th century St John church, next to it there is a 13th century belltower

Climb the steep and fragile wooden stairways leading to the top of the belltower

Look down

Like a surrealistic painting.
Great POV and a nice view down.Amazing colors and nice circles around this woman.But what is the bright yellow thing left of this lamp?

An original composition. Striking colours cleverly presented through the diagonal twist. Terrific circles around the woman. Also an interesting collection of "objects" (including the woman).

Hi Daniel, a beautiful capture of this moment at this veyr high perspective. I like the resulting colors and contrast, the concentric "waves" of the shallow water created by the woman (it has a surreal effect) and showing the light colored boulders below. Thanks for sharing...Alex

this one is quite cool, daniel...

you used a "natural opportunity" perfectly but what i love most here is the circles on the water surface created by that fat woman...
i think that i'd clone out both that lamp and that duck/bird which would result in a plain "about circles in water" image...

My eyes have never seen a see with this color. Mesmerizing... not easy to take a sunbath there it seems, with all those stones.
Lovely composition and lovely simple note.
