Photographer’s Note

Island Susak, Cape Kurila. Sunset (it's obvious). Sailboat - that's obvious too. This sailboat was anchored there because the small Susak port was full and the Bok Bay was crowded. Maybe they just wanted to be left alone, without noisy neighbours.
Sometimes it's great, waiting for the sunset on the boat, lying on the pillows, keeping mosquitoes away with that smoking device, drinking cold drinks, listening to some local radio station, counting stars and numerous airplanes on flight. Listening crickets and telling stories, or just enjoying the silence...
