Excellent POV. This is one picture I liked instantly from the thumbnail and I was even more impressed with the bigger version. Simple subject but very well composed. I like the empty space in the FG and the framing is good. I like your note as well.

I love your idea, title fits perfectly.
I wonder what it would have been like with a little less pavement at the bottom and more of the lovely blue sky at the top?
Great perspective and contrast of colours.
