Photographer’s Note

This is a panoramic view over a landscape sorrounding little village of Stara Baska on the island of Krk, the largest island in Croatia. The scenery is very dramatic as the vegetation is literally shathered by strong winds that blow in this area throughout the year, but esspecially in the winter. If you look really closely then you might see a very tiny beach in the centre. On the day that I took this it was fully crowded with people so unfortunatelly we had to go to another one. But the beach is rather tiny, measuring maybe 200 m in length, but very nice and fitting this wild paradise excellently.

The road to the village is a rather nice ride as you get to go around many corners while you think of the crushing depths below - so good brakes on your car are mandatory. Nevertheless, if you ever get the opportunity to visit the place do it immedatelly whatever the season, and you might enjoy a very inspiring views on sea, land and people.
