Sunset over Ucka Photo

Photographer’s Note

Particularly interesting evening sky over the Ucka mountain, W from the town of Rijeka. The picture was taken from the caffe of "Rijeka" department store, not with my usual Minolta, but with Olympus C3020Z.
The picture was only cropped. I know that the streetlamps are the "intruders" here...

Wow, the sky was really on fire! It's always a good idea to put a bit of ground in sky photograph. Good work.

Definitely arresting colors and skyscape, Vlad. Perhaps the lamps are "intruders," as you say, but they also lend a certain realism and help anchor the image, IMHO. Thanks for sharing.

this is excellent. I am tottally swept by it. Excellent work and the lamp are just a great feature there!!! But, how did you get these colors? I have never seen such a sky?
