Photographer’s Note

I was inspired by the brilliant photo of Plitvice that euryan posted today. My photos of the same area had too much contrast as the sky was overcast, yet had that awful glare. I noticed that in his photo the sky was missing and the water and tress had prominence. Hence I saved this photo of mine by cropping the sky and leaving just a hint of it.Not as bright as euryan's, firstly because I cannot match his skills and secondly, my trees have shed most of their leaves.Still, some of the magic of Plitvice is still there. Hope you like it.

Klaudio,
This is a nice long exposure giving the water a silky look. Your composition is fine including the stream in the foreground and the waterfall in the bg. The lighting and colors are fine with nice sharpness and detail.

Zdravo dradi Dado,

mnoge stvari i ambijenti su leši na fotografijama nego u stvarnosti. Kada su u pitanju Plitvice, čovek ne može da tvrdi ni jedno ni drugo: prosto ne znaš šta je lepše. Posle svega doživljaj je barem jednom prošetati stazama pokraj divnih voda, ali je i zadovoljstvo videti slike. Poput ove tvoje jesenje od pre dve godine. U ovom periodu ambijent je istovetan, pa si sliku uputio u pravom momentu. Deo tvoje galerije iz Dalmacije, pa i ova, vraćaju mi repertoar lepih uspomena. Zato sam ti vrlo zahvalan, kao i na posebno drugarskom odnosu koji neskrivaš na TE. Živ bio i dođi opet.

Hi Klaudio, I like the idea in this shot, with waterfall in the BG behind the flowing water. Loosing the sky sounds like it was a good move. cheers, Steve

Des couleurs automnale et une bonne pose longue qui donne un très bon filé sur l'eau!!
On sent un bon contraste de lumière entre le sous-bois et le lac.
C'est très bien vu!!

Hello Klaudio,
as far as I have noticed, the colour of water (waterfalls, the sea) in Croatia is very peculiar. To me, it looks unusual. This is what I also see in your photo. It's interesting to see the juxtaposition of three different kinds of water: the still, quiet water in the distance (on the right), a quick waerwall in the BG, and the flowing water in the FG. I like these quiet soft colours of autumn; the whole picture has a tranquil relaxing mood :)

Hi Kladio,
impressive shot of the falling waters of Plitvice. The colours of the leaves in autumn are beautiful. Did you already sow the blitva-seeds? Enjoy cooking and eating.

Very interesting and beautiful composition, with an excellent management of light (shades are at the right point in here), very nice colors and very good sharpness!
The scene is pleasant and relaxing! I also looks like a painting (a good one!).

You do not need any excuse,your photos are brilliant. I believe that Plitvice are the best at fall,because of all those colors.

yes I can hear the song the water is singing,
the water shows us green and blue colors and fallen autumn lesves cover the land.
a wonderful moment of late autumn is surely captured in this picture, and the feeling of quiet and calm season is well expressed in it.
