Plitvice's Coat of Many Colours Photo

Photographer’s Note

I have written about Plitvice National Park before. I will just add here that no matter what the season, the place is a delight for all the senses. The brooks, rivers, cascades, waterfalls provide a gurgling, gushing music. Something a photo cannot convey. The scent of various plants is also missed. However, the eye can feast on the visual beauty of the place.

This is a beautiful shot of a peaceful scene. Your colors are striking, especially the aqua tone of the water. This reminds me much of a place near my home here in the United States.

Wonderful play of colours on trees and reflections. Colour of water is in perfect harmony with this scene. Would love to see this one on large size and without JPG compression.

This is a serene scene but not a dull one thanks to those exciting colours. The complementary colours of orange and turquoise blue really make this glow.Great definition too.

Da, imam srecu da poznajem Plitvice i to je bozanstveno mesto. Uspeo si u svojoj fotografii da uneses puno tog duha i preljepe atmosfere. Prosto izvanreden boje u ocaravajucoj kompoziciji. TFS

Mnogu gi sakam esenskite boi, prirodata pravi prekrasen kolazh od topli tonovi koi gi gledam na drvjata na tvojata slika. Preubava gletka so prekrasni boi i zelenata boja na vodata mnogu poubavo se vklopuva otkolku koga taa bi bila nebesno sina primer.

Prekrasne jesenske boje na Plitvicama djeluju skroz nestvarno, kao da si ih naslikao, a ne fotografirao. U tirkiznoj boji ovog jezera prelamaju se sve nijanse jeseni - zuta, crvena, narancasta, smedja, ostaci zelene...

A wonderful shot with nice reflections. You can't beat fall colours when they are this good. A good composition with the three trees on the left and the two near the centre to counter balance them. The one that leans adds a dynamic effect.

Lucky you, to have visited Plitvice in autumn to enjoy these lovely colors... I agree with you regarding your feeling of a complete "assault on the senses" in Plitvice, together with the music of the birds and waters, and the fragrances there... Certainly one of the most beautiful places of the world...
