Photographer’s Note

Nobody knows exactly the total length of these wooden walkways and small bridges inside of Plitvice Lakes Park. Sixteen Lakes are making a chain 8 km (5 miles) long with the highest elevation of 635 meters (0.4 miles) on Prošćansko Lake and going down to 505 meters (0.31 miles) on Kaluđerovac Lake.
So the park’s crew must be pretty busy maintaining all this in good condition and we have to admit the whole place looks very clean and neat.
