| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
| This is the second photo that I have posted from Plitvice National Park. It was taken in spring with the soft green of the new growth framing the cascades flowing over the travertine which builds up creating the lakes. A glimpse of the next lake up can be seen through the trees. It is a continuous process as the travertine keeps growing and reforming, including over concrete steps. The lakes are all have beautiful, but varying shades of blue. A beautiful world heritage listed (naturally) place! |
