Photographer's Note
Plitvice National Park has at least 16 turquoise coloured lakes but the nature of them is constantly changing. Between the lakes are living barriers of travertine of various heights creating multiple cascades. Plants become encrusted with calcium carbonate. New mosses grow on top so that the barriers are constantly growing, sometimes covering older walkways. Lush vegetation surrounds the lakes and the colours change with the season depending on what is coming into the lakes.

Bonjour Ian
Une belle vue plongeante sur ces eaux d'un bleu particulier et lumineux et toutes les petites cascades.
Merci pour le partage et bon week-end.

Hello Ian!
Those falls are so interesting and beautiful!
You took a very attractive picture of them!
Sharpness, exposure, pov, dof, pp, colors, contrasts, horizontal format and composition are all very good features here!
I'd love to visit them some day and your picture certainly invites me so desperately to do that!
TFS - congrats,
Best regards,
Neyvan

Hi Ian,
A lovely bit of nature seen here with the white falls contrasting brilliantly with the turquoise river that contrast so wonderfully with the lush green banks.
