Plitvice Lakes National Park (since 1949).
The Plitvice Lakes are a system of 16 lakes naturally connected at different altitude.
The region is heavily forested (Alpine and Mediterranean vegetation) and there is an extremely wide variety bird species.

sono stato qui nel 2007, è davvero formidabile questo parco, assieme a quello delle cascate....dopo un inverno così piovoso mi immagino come sarà ora!!
