The beauty of the National Park lies in its sixteen lakes, inter-connected by a series of waterfalls, and set in deep woodland populated by deer, bears, wolves, boars and rare bird species. The National Park covers a total area of 300 square kilometres, whilst the lakes join together over a distance of eight kilometres. There's also quite an altitude difference - the highest point is at 1,280m, the lowest at 380m - although the total height difference between the lakes themselves is only 135m. (Veliki Slap, the largest waterfall, is 70m tall.)"

Prise de vue intéressante de ce site superbe.
On voit, même de loin, tout ce qui fait la splendeur de cet endroit: le vert de la forêt, le bleu des lacs, les séries de cascades...
L'ajout de la barrière en bois donne une bonne profondeur à l'image.

Hi,
another very well composed picture. The wooden outlook post is a nice contrast to the lovely landscape in the back and it also sets this picture apart from so many other Plitvice shots. Really a very unique view of this splendid area.

c'est la deuxième photo de Plitvice que je commente aujourd'hui ;o)) pas commun quand même ! J'aime bien ton point de vue qui domine le lac et le contraste entre l'eau et la verdure qui l'entoure. Bravo.

Hello Jonathan,

J'aime bien ici le fait que l'on voit une partie de la barrière de bois. Cela donne l'impression que l'on se trouve vraiment sur le belvédère.
Ces lac couleurs émeraudes sont splendides en contre-bas.
Une région qui semble être superbe.

An incredibly beautiful view, looking more to me like somewhere in the tropics rather than the Balkans. The view is nicely framed by the wooden-topped wall and the tree to the right. Splendid colours and cropping.

Une eau turquoise qui se détache bien sur cet univers verdoyant. Un point de vue original où nous avons l'impression de se trouver sur le belvédère. Joli et agréable coup d'oeil avec une belle luminosité, merci JC.

Bonjour Jonathan.
Ce parc de Plitvice est vraiment une merveille qu'on ne peut pas oublier lorsqu'on l'a visité. J'aime ce point de vue et je ne crois pas y être passé. Ici on domine des lacs d'émeraude et des cascades serties dans un écrin de verdure.
Un vrai régal !
