The town Slunj lies on the river Slunjèica near its mouth, and known for its beautiful river Korana. Slunj offers its guests many attractions. First of all, it should be mentioned rich historical heritage of the fortified old town in 1323, and an unusual nature, which occupies a special place full of mill housing Rastoke - picturesque fairytale!

Rastoke waterfalls and a team from the time of the mills on the river Sunjèice Fom Military Frontier era. Village and part of the mill was destroyed in 1995 during the recent war, but they are rebuilt according to old plans.

In Rastoke see old wooden houses, some of which are over 300 years old. These houses are renovated after the recent devastation, but in the traditional, historical style, with gardens full of flowers and wild bushes.

The famous waterfalls in Rastoke developed in conjunction Sunjèice and Korana rivers. In contrast to the nearby National Park Plitvice Lakes, waterfalls Rastoke area have long been used by humans.

Here a lot of old mills and other beautiful certificates of compliance with human nature, and vice versa. With this harmony and architectural and ethnographic heritage, Rastoke was recorded in 1969 on the list of cultural monuments in Zagreb.

Hello Jozef,

Again a scanned image, it result is very well, but not as your previous scanned picture.
Nevertheless I like the waterfall between the green area.
These picture is very nice for look at.
You chose a very well angle, with excellent light management.

Chorwacja i jej przyroda sa chyba rownie piekne i niepowtarzalne jak architektura.Piekne miejsce uwieczniles na tej fotografii.Wyglada na bardzo spokojne,troche odosobnione.Napewno mozna sie tu nacieszyc pieknem przyrody.
