Rovinj from the edge of the parking lot outside the old city, I decreased brighness on the belltower, which was very harshly lit, and added brightness to the waterfront houses which were unlit, understandable because people live in them, so the reflected lights are only of those that are used to illuminate the church.

A very nice image! I like the colors, the reflections off the water, and the composition. Your explanation of the PPing you did is very informative and has given me some good direction for working on problems I have with some night shots. Thanks! All together, very well done!

Great shot! The lighting in this is really extraordinary, and the timing is great too, with the lights of the town and the light in the sky balancing each other very well. Excellent!

A really great atmopshere that makes me forget the low definition... The belltower, over the city, over the sea is great. I like the sensation the day is over, the fact the city is looking like going to sleep in the night... Good pov and off-centering.

I see you are developing a good relatioship with digital cameras as well, becuase I love this photo that has a romantic feeling, I think that there is a tiny lack of sharpness but I think it´s the mood what counts here, Tan. Thanks for share.

Hi Tan, another superb picture, at least considering the POV, composition, colors and light conditions. You really opened your camera in every respect with 3s and f/4. HOWEVER, this shot is blurred or simly not sharp! Why? A lot of wind rattling on your tripod? High ISO? Processing? I know you can do better and for that reason it will be only a light green face today. Sorry, I'm just being honest.
Kind Regards, Peter

Hi Tan - the composition & colours are good here, no complaints about that but it does appear it's either not sharp enough or that perhaps it didn't focus correctly. Having said that, the PP work to get the light balanced correctly is pretty good & I see that the file size is right on the margins of the 200kb limit so that's bound to have an effect too (as I've found lately).

Very impressive view...I think the adjustments you did with brightness was necessary & this has brought out the picture very well against the darkish sky. The reflections are excellent & I like how the lit up left graduates to the dark right. Lovely!

well I like the nightshot tan,
the shot is not easy but even that you did do a good job here, the light is fine, the reflection of colours is good, perhaps a cut of the right side was wellcome for a better composition, farther good job Tan.

Superb colour & reflections, with well managed low light levels & sharpness, in this outstanding time exposure. Tfs!

Hi Tan, some quality trouble in that one, a really rare event for your images, but as everytime you found the POV, the one to have a great view and amazing reflection on the bay.

Akşamın mavi saatinde açısıyla, ışığıyla ve yansımalarıyla nefis bir manzara.

Tan ,une belle ambiance nocturne et colorée sur ce village. Les arbres près du clocher sont du meilleur effet.

Hi Tan..interesting to use a polarizer at night with a long exposure...I will try it. This shot is very nice with the colors and contrast. The intensity reminds me of El Greco. Good work.
