Rovinj has two harbours.

The most popular is the protected southern harbour, quite crowded with recreational boats and surrounded by restaurants and cafes along the promenade.

And this one, the open northern harbour, with a more authentic feeling.

Daniel,
Your composition is great with the inclusion of the gull and boat in the foreground adding depth to the scene. The angle of the shot is nice giving the shot a sense of direction. The lighting and colors are great with excellent sharpness and detail.

Hello Daniel,
A bit conventional, considering the photographer, :-) but indeed a very fine view. The old rowing-boat would alone have made a fine foregound but you also managed to get the bird to pose. Gloriously faded old buildings in the background. Maybe not always the perfect dwellings, but certainly picturesque.

Hello Daniel,

A picturesque harbour scene, with several elements we expect to find in this location!
The gull poses nicely in front of the boat, and the old houses are captured with good details...
The fine light really brings out vivid colours!

A superb colours of the walls make this image very appealing. The picture is also rich in details very well collected. Perfect POV and very smart composition with the seagull and little boat in the foreground I must say.
