Photographer’s Note
That morning, just after having an early breakfast in Opatija, I had read this in my Lonely Planet: "On top of one of the hills that undulate westward from Opatija, Labin's old town is a beguiling conglomeration of stepped streets, cobblestone alleys and pastel houses festooned with stone ornamentation".
So I decided to go to Labin.
And I did found indeed "a beguiling conglomeration of stepped streets, cobblestone alleys and pastel houses festooned with stone ornamentation..."
And a cat.

for personal reasons I consider "lonely planet" as pleasant as a kick between the legs (and as a man you know what I mean!)
but this time the description is right....and the cat adds some life to the composition.
