Excellent photo! Good presentation of Ravinj. I am not a fan of fang shui, but I think the inhabitant have got good and right view from their windows. Clever choice of the PoV. My compliments!

A very clear sharp image that is well composed using the rocks as FG interest and then the line of the rocks and the houses leads your eye through into the sky.
I can almost smell the sea air!

Hello Agnes ,
A beautiful city close to the sea . Not sure to be happy to live in this houses when there are strong storms !
I like the composition in this vertical format , with the big stones in the FG .

Cela ressemble beaucoup à la côte grecque avec ces maisons construites sur de l'espace empruntée à la mer. J'aime bien la ligne diagonale qui donne de la profondeur à la composition.

There isn't much space between the houses and the rocks that protect them from the sea but still one has managed to run a restaurant there.
Excellent sharp picture.
Impressive in the vertical format.
Best regards, Paul

Hello Agnes - I like your composition with the buildings set right on a spit of land with the breakwater
rocks forming a strong compositional element. A beautiful location but I wonder what it must be like if a storm blows in.
An attractive scene

this place reminds me of Little Venice on the island of Mykonos in Greece. I love your POV and glorious DOF that makes it look so attractive and enticing. Lots of character here too - I could enjoy a Pizza listening to the waves.
Have a good weekend - B.

although the houses seem a bit damaged they appear as very charming, and have a similar Mediterranean style. Great composition with the rocks in the foreground.
I dream about visiting Croatia for one of my next holidays.

I've heard a lot about this beautiful seaside town, and see it often in the photos of my Italian friends. IN fact, the architecture is very similar to that in many seaside ports in Italy. I like the vertical frame, the rich colours and the wonderful sharpness particularly of the FG rocks. Their textures are very compelling for me. Croatia is always somewhere I've dreamed of going, and your photos are doing an excellent job in convincing me too.
