Fountain of Onofrio Photo

Photographer’s Note

Same place as here.
Inside of old town are two Fountains of Onofrio decorate the beginning and the end of Stradun.
The first one is the big one with stone masks throwing water out of their mouth.
Dubrovnik was one of few European cities that had spring water, a very rare diamond in those days. It is safe to drink the water from the fountain, nobody ever got poisoned. It is a real refreshment during hot summer days and it's free, what more can one want!

Hi Isabela,

Lovely shot. The only thing that may bother is the bottom which was cut off - I mean the foot of the fountain along with those people. It would be better if there was a bit more space.

Nice composition. Colors are well saturated. Indeed a pitty that the bottom is cut of, but I guessit was thatr or the church spire.
