Photographer's Note

Otok Gubeša is a tiny island in the entrance to Uvala Gradina (Gradina Bay) on the island of Korčula in the Dalmatian archipelago, Croatia. We had intended to take the boat into Vela Luka where there is a marina, and we felt in need of a shower. But passing this beautiful little bay convinced us that to anchor here would be more peaceful and pleasant. We had a swim instead, and a couple of beers in a nice little "konoba" by the beach. Dalmatian cruising at its best.
