Photographer’s Note

I am still going through a Dalmatian phase- one reason being that posting such photos helps me remember my trip, the second being that as there are no other Dalmatians active on TE, there are not many photos from this region of the world.

This scene is taken from the city wall, as was my previous shot. One disadvantage of having high walls is that there is little privacy for those people inside the city who live close to the walls. Walking along these fortifications one ends up looking over people's backyards and even sometimes on is looking directly at a window.
Still, there is so much to admire. I love both the play of light as the evening approaches and the two houses with the very old roof tiles.
I decided to crop the sky and the mountain as there was too much glare.
