Photographer's Note
Hello TE's. This is my second photo of series wonderful area "Belogradchik Rocks".
I feel this photo something like prehistoric landscape.
I hope You enjoy and like my photo
The Belogradchik Rocks are a group of bizarre sandstone and limestone rock formations, reaching up to 200 m in height. They form a strip, which is 30 km long and up to 3 km wide, and are located north of the western slopes of Stara Planina, near the town of Belogradchik in Bulgaria. The formations are a product of erosion.
The rocks were declared a natural landmark in 1949 and consist of four independent groups. Every distinct rock is named after an object it is believed to resemble and the formations vary from red through yellow to grey in color.

Hi Philip,
Beautiful green & textures of the forest top with a nice framings of the rock. Great moody sky and layers of mountain in the back. Excellent lighting ... the area of light is like the shape of an eye giving us a nice view through the photo. Well done. Consistently good upload. Regards. Latiff.

Hello Philip,
An interestingly dramatic painting like photo. You have intentionally left the photo dark to emphasize the atmosphere. Good POV. The rocks in the foreground, the diagonal ridges in the middle and the distant mountains give a good perspective. The clouds are great. TFS.

Hi Phil,
This is a great shot, I love the different tones within it, all the different shades of green and the texture of the sky is great. Nice really soft light catching the rocks too. I also see it's a HDR, and that's a really nice job because it looks very natural.

Hello Philip,
Indeed this photograph is reminiscent of a earlier period of the earth, when the dinosaurs roamed. Sunlight has selectively illuminated certain parts of the panoramic scene, while others are in deep shadow. The sky is extremely dramatic with an overlay of clouds. The scene is also reminiscent of Greece's Meteora area.
Warm regards,

Hello Philip,
Stunning landscape, the dark tones and the dappled sunlight gives your capture so much depth. The muted colours work very well. Beautiful shot.

Excellent framing on this picture. I like how you've set the one prominent formation off to the right and then have red rocks sandwiched between a dramatic sky and the green trees. A very nice perspective on this unusual area.

Hi Philip,
The strange shape rocks and the dark clouds have combined to make a very dramatic scene. Depiction of the rocks that the sunlight is hitting has a three-dimensional feeling.
Amazing landscape!
Have a nice day, Hisashi

Very nice composition, a bit low-key but it conveys the sombre mood of the overcast over this special landscape.

Hello Philip,
What a wonderful combination of sky, trees, and those magnificent rocks! The clouds are so dramatic, and the DOF stretches out so far into the distance. I like your composition, and the placement of the rocks on the left side of the frame. This spot certainly looks like someplace where time has stood still.

Dramatic sky, the steep rock formations are very interesting, more like an eroded desert formations, but surrounded by green forest.

Bonjour Philip,
Amicalement.
Daniel.

Hello Philip
This looks prehistoric alright. Beautiful use of the low light & I like how a slice of light seems to run through the centre. Wonderful layers of mountains in the BG. Lovely shot!
Best Regards
Angshu
PS : Wanted to ask you, how do you show the amount of details even in this low light. The F/10 at 1/100 secs won't be allowing too much light into the camera, yet all details are so very clear. Would help me if you can give me some tips in this matter

Hi Philip
It really creates a funny sensation the way you have emphasized the clouds and the POV yu have used. Great effect indeed.

Really a breathtaking view, even without the (a bit excessive, I think) postporocessing. I love the place a lot. Is there a tourist base in the region good enough for a couple with 2 small children? Thanks for sharing.

Philip,
Outstanding shot. I'm glued to the view and waiting for the approach of T-REX. It's ominous and threatening. I'm impressed.
Thanks for sharing.
