Photographer’s Note
This is one of my most favourite places in Bulgaria. This is the area in the Rila mountain where the so-called Seven Rila Lakes are situated. On a peak overlooking almost all of the lakes: "Dolnoto" (The Lower Lake), "Babreka" (The Kidney lake), "Salzata" (The Tear lake), as well as the two highest peaks in Rila, this spot is covered with stone formations like this one on the photo. One feels as if they're in a forest of stone pyramids. :)
But don't make the mistake to think while looking at the photo that this is a solitary place: behind me there were at least 20 people placing stones, taking photos or just enjoying the marvelous view. It is one of the most visited spots in Rila. Let's hope it will remain unspoiled by us greedy humans...

Hello Tsvetana. The photo pleases me very well. The landscape is impressing. But above all the stones in the foreground, put one on the other, to give the picture special value. The stones symbolize the Meditation in certain way. Therefore also the title fits outstanding to the photo. Very beautifully. Best regards, Wolfgang.
