Photographers Note
The most photographed building in Bulgaria is the Alexander Nevski Cathedral. This was taken in 1995, on a showery spring afternoon. Other photos of this, all taken in 2005 from a similar perspective, can be seen here , here , here and here . It looks like the golden domes have been renovated since I was there. Does gold rust? Anyway, this was an attempt on my part to colour my map more orange, I do not think my version is better than others. I will add a view of the Sofia skyline to WS. The following factual info on the building is copied from Brigitte(bibiweb)'s photo:
The impressive Alexander Nevski Cathedral with its multiple gold covered domes is probably the most photographed landmark in Sofia. This church was built between 1882 and 1912 to honour the Russian soldiers who died in combat during the war that liberated Bulgaria from the Ottoman Empire en 1878. Alexander Nevski, a hero from the 13th century was the patron saint of the tsar family at that time, Alexander II.

Hi Tan. Nice job again with the super-saturation. I like the careful framing to include the people. Perhaps the shot is a little too dark but then if you lightened it you'd obviously lose the deep saturation. I think you were successful at adding some orange to your map! Nicely done Tan.

Wow, that Ektar had some nice colour! Great detail and definition of this magnificent building. The showery sky makes this more interesting and dramatic also, and the whole shot is well balanced. Well done!

Bonjour Tan,
Une composition richement colorée et bien exposée.
J'aime les couleurs des toitures.
Un excellent cadrage, dommage que cs barrières gâchent un peu le paysage.
Regards.
Daniel.

Hi Tan!
Nice capture of this beautiful cathedral!
The sharpness and the colors are great.
I like the perspective here very much and that you have managed to capture even the building of Bulgarian national gallery for foreign art in the background.
Really well-done!
All the best,
Vesela

Hi Tan,
Agree with your statement, it seems this cathedral has to be in the gallery of any Bulgarian member, maybe they should create a theme ?
I like your comprehensive PoV and your use of the otherwise not so photogenic barriers to build a perspective towards it, the green and golden tones on the roofs complement well the attractive compex architecture of this building.
Have a nice day,
Jean-Yves

Hi Tan
Incredible. Each time you shot, each time it's the same weather : Blue sky, great clouds. Next time I will ask you to visit the world together ;-)!!
Barriers are not fantastic but better than cars or buses.
Cheers

Hi Tan,
A well composed shot of this fabulous building. All of the fine details are seen with clarity. The POV allows some breathing room in the frame for the foreground scene of people walking. The stately building angling into the scene on the right helps balance and contrast. Very well captured.

beautiful architectural and good side lighting which makes the building itself looks more 3D. Good background with the blue sky.

Mimarinin ilginçliği, güzelliği yanında bakış açın ve müthiş gökyüzü ile nefis bir görünüm. Elinize sağlık, saygılar.
