A gypsy boy driving a horse cart in Dragalevtsi. The first historical records of the Gypsy reaching south-eastern Europe are from the 14th century. They came from north west India. They must face many persecutions, it reached a peak during World War II when the genocide was perpetrated by the Nazis during the Holocaust. They are also called Tzigan, Bohemian, indian, rom.
