Photographer’s Note

Here comes the next picture of our mutual TE project with George/"Aegean" that we do the last few days.
The soft early afternoon sun was warming in gentle way the windy and cold weather at the mouth of Kamchia River. This was the way I saw the place that day: sea and sand embraced in calm serenity. Hope you will enjoy it and will be able to sense the magic.

PS: as a WS I am giving you another perspective view from the shooting process of George's pic...;-))

Hi dear "Sun", the same place, but a different point of view, peaceful, very nice blue, the bush is "breaking" the sky, I like it very well, only the branch is disturbing me a little, but whatever!

Your picture ended up in a funny row of three today! I like how you included the bare bush to get a vertical element to contrast to the horisontals of the sea and shore. You can compare with the picture to the right of yours, they are almost the same as yours but lack something to break the horisontals.

Hi Maria - good use of the bush in the foreground to break into the horizonally aligned composition. The colors are really pretty in this one, and it seems that the autumn light does a fine job of subtly enhancing the natural textures. Well done, and the WS is a fun add :-)

So the project goes on :)
I think the bush takes the head role of your photo.Managed to beat the one lying on the left.You captured great colours in a different pov.The clouds look so interesting in the sky.And your WS is just great.

You choose a nude tree as foreground, Maria. It's also a very good idea. The place looks like very peaceful... I like also the picture with Georges! Well done!

I like very much what you both are doing, Maria. I like the narroe blue band of sea in the center. The tree is a very nice decoration.

Nature is rich. It could display itself in so many ways and it is up to us to "paint" it. Or really, it is up to us to choose the right one we liked or preferred. This one says something about freedom, barren seascape and obstacles. This photo is about enigma.

Hi Maria, I quite like this nicely layered composition. Through this and the good DoF choice the background has an almost abstract quality - serving as fine backdrop for the nicely rendered young tree and sand on the foreground. The concrete boulder with the iron rod portruding adds a nice twist and makes your fine compo not only relaxing but also very interesting. Very well seen & done!
