Photographer’s Note
Stara Zagora is knowns as "the city with straight streets". During the wars of 1878 when Bulgaria became independent after 5 centuries under Ottoman control, Stara Zagora was destroyed by the retrieving Turkish armies. After that it was rebuilt with only straight streets.
On the picture you can see tha main street in Stara Zagora. Its central part is for walkers only.
