Photographer’s Note

The main entrance of the castle-symbol of Vidin. It's a medieval castle built on the remains of a Roman building. Used by the Ottomans during their 500 year rule. The door is looked from the inside with a huge piece of solid square-shaped wood going across the middle of door and into the stone wall on the side. The door itself is impressively heavy and thick.
