This is another yet more dramatic view of the this magnificient building. You can see the state it is now and with time this Jewish synagogue is going to fall apart beyon recognition. I have been inside snuk up through the weeds and the locked gate (we have our ways)...there is such an amasing feeling of symetry all around. There used to be very pretty stained glass windows and the most astonishing of acoustics!The municipality of Vidin seems not interested in the restoration and the preservation of this valuable piece of artefact. There used to be a Jewish community in town (I don't know what happened now) and Bulgaria was one of the very few countires which protected the Jews on its teritory during II WW. Can we save this piece of themed architecture before it's turned into rubble?? Email me if you have any idea how we can stop this from happening, please.
