Varna is the largest city on Bulgaria’s Black Sea coast and is the main port for both naval and commercial shipping. Because it is a close neighbor to the popular coastal resorts of Golden Sands, St. Constantine & Helena, and Albena, Varna has a cosmopolitan atmosphere. Varna is also the host city of numerous prestigious cultural events.

though it´s a "color" picture, it looks a bit like a "sepia touched one" , and i like it a lot!

Hello Barbara,

In sepia this becomes a timeless shot of a beach at Varna. I like the photo, especially since it is one of two places on the Black Sea Coast of Bulgaria that I've visited over the years. The frame is simple and complements the photo.

I like this shot despite the burned out sun - this colour hue is incredible. Also a good decision was to have the two person in the FG as silhouettes. Considering who many decades ago the photograph was taken and that it is scanned, I think you did a good job.

czarujacy efekt. Nie widac piasku tylko sama wzburona wode i wyglada na to jakby ci ludzie chodzili po wodzie. :) Bardzo dobrze wykorzystalas swiatlo i sylwetki spacerujacych ludzi.

normally we try not to place our subjects in the middle of the frame, but in this instance is works out very well.
the two people in the middle provide balance and symmetry to the scene.
and the sun above shines and shimmers on the water below like a beacon in the night.

Wow! Is it a photo from your school album? Excellent archive shot! Perfect quality for a scan. I was in Solnchev Brjag in 2000.
I am not sure about an every corner of the planet. Would you like to visit Saudi Arabia, Lybia or Pakistan , for example?
