Photographer’s Note

Another shot from saturdays trip to Ruse.
I was going to visit the ruins of an old roman fortress at the river, but the place was closed. Instead i took a walk around the neighborhood and found this old building with an old Lada parked in front.
As you will notice i chose some heavy PP as the texture on the old building was well suited for that kind of treatment.

PP: converted to B+W, clarified max 3 times and framed it.

Hi Harry, eh eh i see which picture you commented in my gallery i'm not surprised to see your eyes attracted by this one ;)
I'm a "baby abulafia" sometimes in PP, you are still a step further, this is really good man, i'm really fond of your style, that creates such a particular mood, attracts my eyes so much ... a pleasure to watch.

Congratulations for this shot. A great idea to present the details of this classy building in B/W
And the Lada is just another car like many others. One of its main disadvantage is the absence of airconditioning and summers in Ruse are..., oh, mamma mia,... very hot.
I like this treatment and the shot.

I really like the post processing you use on your images. You really have found your own style which makes it evident when I look at a new picture of yours that you are the author.
Thios one again is perfectly composed, I would only say that it is a pity that the top of the balcony is cut...

Good work here, I like the heavy PP, as you say, it suits the building. It accentuates the texture on the walls and the door in particular. WOuld like to see more of this building.

This PP is extreme but works finally well for that kind of mood/subject (and I understand what you wrote about mine !).
Time in Bulgaria is interesting and the country is clearly between two ages...

I was impressed seeing all these architectural details of that facade ...And of course,as usual your PP work ,converting in b&w....do you remember how I called you ...the master of b&w:)
