Photographer’s Note
Funny I thought I posted this last May, only realised the omission on seeing Kari's Finish museum piece diesel.
At Ruse station in northern Bulgaria it's possible to see Romanian and Bulargian locos together as here. International trains swap from Romanian diesels to antique Bulgarian electric stock. One of the treats of travelling on Bulgarian trains is the fun of travelling on 40-50 year old rolling stock, with only a few services having been upgraded. On the downside, they're a bit slow.

Hi. Nice and good moment catch on the ROUSE- Bulgaria. Are really true that diferences. Romanian Locomotive are made in cooperation with General Motors-USA, in 2005.
Romanian electric locomotive are made in cooperation with SIEMENS-Germany and SECHERON- Switzerland.
All the best,

Hi Richard & Seasons Greetings
I like the warm cold colour opposition, between the red & blue locomotives. Good sharpness & well composed. Tfs!

Hello Richard,
I like the sharp contrast in tones and style between the two locomotives and the additional splash of colour offered by the guard's cap. A good documentary image with excellent sharpness and colours.

Hi Richard,
Interesting combination of Bulgarian and Romanian locos in different colours. And both having different looking design than elsewhere in Europe. Good light. Black uniform with bright red cap looks oldfashionedly formal.
