A tower from the medieval fortress Perperikon /Hiperperakion/.A big medieval town, bishop's residence with a monastery.Soon the archeologists found there one of earlyest churches builded in Bulgaria.The city of Perpericon in the middle ages was been a cennter of the gold mynery industry.Near by the city was founded many golden mynes dated back to early antic times.

Angel, nice shot, the colors are really great and the sky was so cooperative. I think that a better ot would help understand what we are looking at ut the picture is really goog.

Hello Angel! Wow, this is so so beautiful out here. I like these rolling hills and mountains as far as we can see. The remaining stone of the fortress uses our imagination how it once might have been in these very early days. Your colors are fantastic and the clouds moving over add up to the whole scene. Very well done. Barbara.
