Photographer’s Note

Hi there,
One of my last photoimpressions from Haskovo this summer.
The church was also in a summer drowse when I was passing by. I had no idea why it was closed but looking up I saw the belfy dome peeping among branches and I liked this hopeful waving green.

Ooh, I wish I were in Budapest now but... no luck:(
By the way, it's the day of Sts Peter and Pavel(Paul) here.
So, all Peters and Pavels (Pauls) have a nice name day:)

I think we are the only two who has images from Haskovo! :) Very nice shot. Your composition is high class. You managed the light very well and made good use of the golden tower to break the diagonal line. Well done!

You have captured a lovely shot with just three elements - dome, tree and wall. All the colours are very natural and the diagonal composition is carefully chosen - a good balance of dark and light also.

I really like this good composition. The tower stands out nicely with good shiny colours. The tree is also very nice with all those flowers. Well done.

J'ai appris en Russie que ces clochers avaient la forme d'une flamme et l'or lui en donne la couleur. Ta photo est bien belle avec ce clocher qui semble surgir de l'arbre en fleurs.

dommage que l'église ait été fermée car les églises orthodoxes ont des intérieurs splendides
