HELP!!!
I am asking anyone out there whether they can tell me a story about this photo.
I took this photo in Sarajevo a month ago. To me it looked like great graffiti in a small side street in central Sarajevo - nothing more, nothing less. A friendly local strolled past and I asked him whether he knew what PNCPR meant. He was very eager to tell me there was an 'urban myth' in regards to this wall. Apparently, during the war in the 1990's, people were lined up against this very wall and shot, hence the bullet holes. Then an artist came along and graffitied the word PNCPR which stands for 'Peoples National Committee for Political Reform'.
Having grown up in a 'bubble' and never exposed to war, I found this all a little hard to take in.
I am posting this in hope that someone knows more about this photo. I have surfed and googled my fingers away but have come up with nothing.
I hope someone out there can help answer my question and put my inquisitive mind to rest. |

nice shot from this new country in the Balkan territorial region. As we see from the full of holes wall, the war finished but the graffiti remained, to remind the passions of the past.I nice this documentary shot of the roads of Sarajevo, but i can not understand the reason of your existence in Sarajevo. Are you journalist or something like this?
