Buna - Lazy River Photo

Photographer’s Note

Buna is a left tributary of river Neretva, their junction is just ¼ mile (400-500 meters) ahead. It is fairly short river, that starts at Blagaj and meandering through villages Blagaj, Kosor, Malo Polje, Hodbina and Buna. It is best known by famous Buna Spring, one of the strongest spring in Europe and extremely cold water. This photo was taken from its left bank (Hodbina’s side) and looking toward Buna’s village side.

Buna je lijeva pritoka Neretve, ušće je manje od pola kilometra naprijed. Izvire u blizini u Blagaju, krivuda kroz sela Blagaj, Kosor, Malo Polje, Hodbina i Buna. Najpoznatija je po svom vrelu, koje je jedno od nasnažnijih u Evropi i po ekstremno hladnoj vodi.

Hey Brano, I find your pics really beautiful and I enjoyed great scenery of the Buna and the Bunica - especially the Bunica, river that I never have opportunity to visit.
