Mosque and Clock-Tower Photo

Photographer’s Note

This is Šišman-Ibrahim-Paša-Mosque built in the years 1562/63 high above Neretva-River in Pocitelj. To the left is the clock-tower (sahat kula) of the 17th century which is 16 metres tall. In 1917 the bells of the clock-tower were taken by the Austrians to cast weapons in WW I.

Hello Roland,

Zdravo Roland. Nice composition with the minaret and the clock tower complementing each other on the left while the cypress trees provide the vertical accents on the right.Lovely light and a pleasing POV. Selamlar. Klaudio.
