Photographer’s Note
Those of you who have seen my previous Mostar shots will know that I unashamedly profess my love for this place. I was heart broken when some savages destroyed Stari Most and skeptical when I heard that it was to be rebuilt.
But on visiting the city once more, I feel that the magic of the place has been given back to those who love beauty and to hose who see beyond tribal loyalties and religious intolerance.

Hello Klaudio,
The same old bridge but from a fine angle that shows more of the surroundings than in most pictures. I agree that this is a place that is worth watching over and over again. The seagull in the lower part looks fine.

Hi Klaudio,
I love these soft unsaturated colours, they look so peaceful. A charming shot, the POV across the river is really attractive and your composition is only perfect. The balance you've chosen here works very well, using the river to dominate the foreground then letting the village, and bridge, the mountains and the sky to fill out the rest of the frame is superb.
A wonderful image.

Klaudio,
This is a nicely composed shot using the river to lead the eye into the scene. The bridge provides a nice focal point for the shot. The lighting and colors are great with excellent sharpness and DOF.

The feeling is quite eerie, knowing that these are the sights which have seen the murders of hundereds of innocent people, one wonders...weren't the murderes mesmerised by the beauty of mostar or were they looking for a high achieved from something other than the beauty of Mostar...so many questions.
Another brilliant picture.
Thanks for sharing

Merhaba Klaudio, Mostar again and this is another wonderful point of vision. It seems there are many visitors of the bridge, it is crowded. A lovely place, a charming architecture and pretty environment, its worth being there. Thank you for sharing it, and for your informative but touching nice notes...

Çağla.

Hi Klaudio.
One of your best shots of the bridge, the elevated position allowing you to capture from above the bird (seagull?), which looks like it will fly up under the bridge. The reflection in the water on the left is captivating. The exposure is good, the saturation and sharpness just right, and the whole scene has an infinitely welcoming sort of feel to it. One can almost feel the sunshine in the mountain air behind the town.

Andrew

Caro Klaudio, no wonder you profess your love for this place - it's magical. And your photos bring out its absolute best. I like your vertical cut and the inclusion of the trees and rocks in the FG - it's all beautifully composed. Thanks also for your Note, it carries an even more important message - that of tolerance and respect. Ottima lavoro e tante grazie per il tuo condivisione, Lisa.

Hello Klaudio,
I would have loved to have seen the original bridge. Many yeas ago, when I had first encountered a photograph of it, I was overwhelmed by its grace and beauty. I knew that it had been designed by an architect trained by master architect Mimar Sinan, and that it had survived five centuries of normal wear. Does this one actually duplicate the original, which you must have seen?
Warm regards,
Bulent

Hi Klaudio,
wow, this is an excellent perspective view, and an excellent composition! The place is very beautiful and romantic and is well worth being painted. The vertical format of the photo is the best, in this case, I guess... though I thought about a landscape one, too (as a variant). (And at the bottom there's even a bird which happened to fly by ;))
Best regards,
Elena

Dragi prijatelju,
i odbir i snimak i motiv su za dušu. Kad god budem hteo da se nagledam Mostara, doći ću na ovu stranicu. Nadgledaću i ove galebove, da li su na istom mestu.
Puno pozdrava Dado i uživaj,
