Photographer’s Note

Stari Most (English translation: "The Old Bridge") is a 16th century bridge in the city of Mostar, Bosnia and Herzegovina that crosses the river Neretva and connects two parts of the city. The bridge was destroyed by Croatian Defence Council units during the War in Bosnia-Herzegovina, on November 9, 1993. Slobodan Praljak, the commander of the Croat forces, is currently on trial at the ICTY for ordering the destruction of the bridge, among other charges. Consequently, a project was set in motion to rebuild it, and the new bridge opened on July 23, 2004.
The bridge spans the Neretva river in the old town of Mostar, the city to which it gave the name. The city is the fourth-largest in the country; it is the center of the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and the unofficial capital of Herzegovina.

Bu Mostar köprüsünün tamirden sonraki yeni hali mi ?
Çok güzel -alışılmış karelerden farklı- bir bakış açısı. Sımsıcak renkler.
Hele bir de tepede yarım aya devreye girince, mükemmel bir çalışma olmuş.

Great night shot. The crispness and clarity is amazing and the blue hour makes huge difference here. You chose a good composition here with a couple of nice elements. The crescent is a great addition as well.

nice the perspective and the POV of the old arch bridge in the city of Mostar.I like the hour of your capture, as the two minarets that exist in the sides of the building.The half moon is an asset in the scene.Well done.

bu öğlen sakisi taksim dolmuşuna koyup senin tarafa yollamayı düşünüyoruz eğer kendini iyi hissederse... oğlundan sonra o da hastalandı valla... belki bugün buuluşabilirsiniz, ben akşama kadar işteyim yine...

Merhaba Salvator Bey, Mostar Köprüsü'ne ilişkin hem bu hem de bundan sonra yüklediğiniz her iki fotoğraf da çok çok güzel ve sıradışı. Özellikle her iki minarenin hilâlli bir gecede mavi saat üzerindeki görünümü enfes. Çok ustaca bir çekim olmuş.

Fotoğraf çok güzel derken, açıklayıcı notun eksik olduğunu belirtmeden geçemeyeceğim. Alıntı yaptığınızı sandığım not "16. yüzyıl" deyip geçmiş. Köprünün bir Osmanlı eseri olduğu, yıkıldıktan sonra yine Türkiye'nin katkılarıyla eski görünümüne uygun şekilde yeniden inşâ edildiğinden nedense hiç bahsedilmemiş.
